Packers beat the Giants, 27 -20. One of the better games to watch as well. Both teams played well.

Watson with 2 TD's.

Micah with the sack and strip to end the game.

Love seemed more focused after he returned from hurting his left shoulder.

The passing game was much better. Love got better protection than usual.

I really want to like the Packers and I picked 'em to go far prior to the season. But I'm just not impressed with them so far. They're missing something. Not sure what but I picture them being one and done in the playoffs.

The Chicago Bears (my favorite team) won and are now in first place in their division! We'll see how the Lions do in their game.
They keep pulling out wins. I've gotta admit I'm impressed with Ben Johnson's coaching job.
Not sure about Caleb yet. Not a fan but we'll see how it goes ...

Bears are winning close games in the final seconds week after week, that is what you like to see, kind of like the Broncos are doing it.

Excellent comparison.

It's like a juxtaposition of last season w/ the Bears pulling out close games after dropping 10 in a row last yr.! Same w/ KC; won those "coin flips" at the end last yr., but luck has turned things on its head as they went down again in a close Div. game w/ Denver! GB & Washington fortunes have turned as well! :stir: :dunno::rolleyes::p

Malik Williams? (Name) came in at QB and gave GB team a big boost. Love may not be such a lock as starter if they keep playing bad during his time. I would have let Malik finish that game.

My lifetime favorite team since birth ... the Raiders... they are....are ... Life is....... Damn you all!!

I'm NOT suggesting HOW the rest of the Bears Season will play out.
But the Schedule is tough.

Good Luck to your Bears.

What are your bluzman61 thoughts?
7 games left.

7-3 Today.
Can they get to 11 Wins?

Even though from Chgo., I was a huge fan of the Raiders going back to the 70's w/ The Snake! You had to apprec. the Big Guy who went on to become a great Announcer of the NFL! They were the most undiscplined of players even though old Vets, but they had a charm you had to appreciate! The penalties & flagrant assaults they perpetrated wasn't a hindrance as they'd win SB's every few yrs. for a while! I started having problems w/ Davis who was a players' owner, but for some inexplicable reason he decided to abuse Marcus Allen! I can't remember what that was all about as they sat him down, used him on goal line offensives, & periodically utilized him as a decoy! He got a lot of rest over 5 yrs. as he was still healthy enuf to help the Chiefs w/ Montana in the early 90's!

Davis continued "Raiding" the coffiers of cities as he was courted to move the team up and down the California coast! He became so litigious I gave up on the old man! It gave me a lot of pleasure seeing the team flounder for a while as the Chiefs took over the Division! The losses could be heartbreaking as in a MNF game where Grbac threw a "Hail Mary" at the end of the game to steal it! I can still see the disappointment of Coach Bugal as the receiver got open past the Safeties! I moved to SF that yr. in '97 to work a project! The delusion of the fandom was shocking as the respect for Davis was "over the top" calling him MR. Davis on the local radio (670 AM)! The team could be underwater w/ their record w/ 6 games to go & the radio callers would be begging for reasons they could still make the playoffs no matter how much they sucked! End Rant! :stir: :eek:

Where is bluzman61

I'll grant you the time zone, but I want to discuss Da Bears.
In the AM,

Will the Bears hang on and make the 2025 NFL playoffs?
I suggest NO.

Of the seven remaining games the Packers will play five against their division rivals.

2 against the Vikings.
2 against the Bears.
1 against the Lions.

The NFC North is one tough Div.! It was thought all 4 could make the playoffs! Minn. not looking too good of late; esp. McCarthy's wild passing! They still almost beat my Bears! :stir:  :p
