The Representatives are being responsible. They will be coming in from all parts of the country, possibly toting germs unwittingly. And with each Rep comes a team of staffers who will be working in the Congressional offices. This isn't about getting a photo op in battle gear in a war zone. It's about not spreading contagion while our Covid numbers show little sign of retreat.

The Speaker announced that the House do now adjourn pursuant to section 7(b) of H. Res. 891. The next meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on May 8, 2020.
