Support for Donald Trump among Orthodox Jews throughout the U.S. has been growing since his election three years ago and is now at an all-time high.

This was among the fascinating findings of a just-completed poll in Ami Magazine, a ten-year-old newsweekly published in the U.S. and Israel.

Where 54 percent of Orthodox Jews voted for Trump in 2016 (according to a survey conducted by the American Jewish Committee), Ami found that a stunning 89 percent of the same group plan to vote for his re-election in 2020.

“Obviously, Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was a key factor in this strong support he has,” Bruce Herschensohn, Senior Fellow of International Relations at Pepperdine University (Cal.) and author of ten books on foreign policy, told Newsmax.

Yeah, okay, but will they throw any shekels Trump's way?

Good question

As the left becomes more and more antisemitic, Jewish people have no where else to turn for representation. In Britain, a man who meets regularly with genocidal Islamists leads the Labor party, and while we lag behind in terms of raw antisemitism, the Islamist influence on the democratic party is now such that they will not condemn the antisemitism arising from within its ranks. Wait a few years and it will only get worse.

Orthodox Jews are the most conservative branch of Judaism, of course, but the trends away from the left are affecting all branches to some degree..

By declaring Jerusalem as Israel's capital and moving our embassy there, he has done what many other Presidents promised to do but failed. How could any Jewish person not think Trump is great?

It's good news and bad news. Less then 25 percent of the Jewish population is orthodox. The remaining percentage is disloyal.

Yes they are like Evangelicals with super strange beliefs.

And he should of never done it.

Those of Faith will vote for Trump regardless of his imperfections. He's stood up for religious freedom. What alternative is there?

Trump has the balls to do what's right for the American people and the country. Democrats will always do what the establishment and the corporate media wants because they can't handle the heat of being criticized and also because they really don't care if the people suffer. After all, their game is to keep people poor, pissed off and dependent on government, then use that to exploit them. Democrats are professionals at exploiting the poor, the gullible, the intellectually slow and the guilt ridden.

Why not? Should Obama, GW, and Bill Clinton not have promised to move the embassy there?

They did promise they'd do that, you know, even though they lied.

Jews have no valid reason to vote for Israel/Jew hating Democrat candidates.
Old habits die hard.

With people like Ben Shapiro articulating an intellectual alternative to the usual left wing stuff, more and more Jewish people are starting to take notice. In Britain, where the mainstream left is much more antisemitic than ours, the majority now vote conservative (which is admittedly more moderate than out own).

Give people time and they will come around.

So all of congress was wrong? Damn we need to impeach all those worthless idiots. Wouldn't that be a kick to remove Pelosi from office over her vote in 1995? The irony would be great.

Well, Don is The King of the Jews you know. Nothing like a "Jew will not replace us" tiki torch march to solidify Don's Yiddish cred. Or maybe it was his support of Israeli ethnic cleansing having nothing at all to do with the Jewish faith.

I'm still waiting on Hillary being locked up. Some folks are a tad light on follow through.

Well she was wrong, no not impeach, they can vote whichever way they want, but I disagree with her and the rest of them. Jerusalem is not the eternal capital of the world. Some Jews like it, remember we have lots of rich Russian jews here.

He wants all the jewish and Evangelicals votes , is all. He can careless about faith or religious freedom.
