Orthodox Jews Back Trump in Record Numbers
Orthodox Jews Back Trump in Record Numbers
Support for Donald Trump among Orthodox Jews throughout the U.S. has been growing since his election three years ago and is now at an all-time high.
This was among the fascinating findings of a just-completed poll in Ami Magazine, a ten-year-old newsweekly published in the U.S. and Israel.
Where 54 percent of Orthodox Jews voted for Trump in 2016 (according to a survey conducted by the American Jewish Committee), Ami found that a stunning 89 percent of the same group plan to vote for his re-election in 2020.
“Obviously, Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was a key factor in this strong support he has,” Bruce Herschensohn, Senior Fellow of International Relations at Pepperdine University (Cal.) and author of ten books on foreign policy, told Newsmax.
