Opportunity for UN to prove it’s committed to Human Rights

You object to hearing it repeated that Nazism/Fascism is the enemy of Socialism/Communism?

Has that now become your attempts to use the 'off-topic ploy to censor all opposition to fascism?
I object to anybody's attempt to derail a thread with their nonsensical bile. Sorry.

IMO NATO is far too supportive of oppressive regimes to be an effective organization to facilitate world peace. It put Iran as chair of the NATO human rights social forum for heaven's sake. How screwed up is that?

As for those "WASP" nations, they all are peaceful and non aggressive except for Russia which is communist and therefore largely suppresses religious expression there along with having a state religion in the Russian Orthodox Church which I'm sure they use as a propaganda tool.
Russia is not an Anglo-Saxon country although some of their history involves the Nordic Vikings.

Russia nevertheless was a "Christian" country long before it was taken over by the Marxists. The Czars could be quite unChristian in how they maliciously evoked "Christ" to discriminate against the Jews and others, however.

Once the communists took over the country, Stalin tried to outlaw religion. Putin takes a much more realistic view that the people are allowed their faith, but in true totalitarian fashion restricts how they are allowed to openly express it.

P.S. the only 'Anglo Saxon' countries are the U.K. and Canada.

And New Zealand, Ireland, and the U.S.

The majority of the world's people see Iran as a peaceful country. That can be debated by Americans.

But there's no debate can be had over the fact that the US is to blame for starting 40 wars of aggression since the end of WW2.

Trump became an anomaly when he actually admitted that America (Biden) started the war against Russia.

The UN is as about as worthless as the League of Nations was
Maybe a goal on Trump’s radar is to kick the UN out of Manhattan. It’s bad enough we condone this organization with our membership, but do we have to HOST them?

I would LOVE for a group of Jewish developers to raze the building and build in its place a luxury co-op. The street level can house a Synogogue and a kosher butcher.

Now wouldn’t THAT be poetic justice?!
