Opening a thread with nothing but a video and not one written word

yes, it is also against the rules.
Besides being impolite

Not everybody wants to listen a long time to some boring video without any transcript

From the forum rules regarding creating a new thread:

"When starting a new thread, please first check and confirm that there are no current threads on the same topic.

Please select the forum that best relates to the subject matter of your topic.

Opening posts require more than a "Copy and Paste" with a link.

You need to include relevant on-topic material of your own."

Thread 'USMB Rules and Guidelines' USMB Rules and Guidelines

Regardless of the fact that it is crystal clear, it still has to be repeated on a daily basis.

Thank you to those who get it, and send reports when they see the guidelines not being followed. 👍

I think that is impolite.
what do you think?
Against the rules at least in most of USMB forums.

But anytime somebody posts an obviously cut and pasted huge wall of text or posts a video without a good written summary of what the video shows, I pretty much always just scroll over those posts.

There is one poster who I usually agree with who does this and I sure wish he wouldn't.
