I am disappointed in some recent appointment decisions. The most compelling reason for supporting your election to POTUS was your status as a private
citizen and not a career politician.
You came into office unencumbered, owned by no one, party, or entity, and that is a winning starting position.

First, I don't understand why you would deplete the House and Senate, which we barely control, by removing members to serve in your cabinet.

Second----In respect to paragraph one, there must be hundreds of the titans of business and successful company CEO's like yourself that would gladly serve you, and this
great nation. Great choice, but Elon Musk is not the only option.

I am of course on the outside looking in. I am not in your head. I hope and pray that you are doing the right thing and I will proudly continue to support
your presidency.

What say you all? Vote for or appoint from the private sector over career politicians?

If this is a true open letter that Trump reads, I say "you will hear from some of us in Canada who have been persecuted for years" As he and his team heard during his last administration. Civil liberties, transparency and human rights are important to Trump. It should be important to ALL nations, especially in the West.
