As the recent revelation of the highly illegal "Arctic Frost" spook state spying operation came to light, a parade of outraged republican "lawmaker" stooges have rushed to the cameras and microphones, to flounce their supposed indignance...Most notably Chuck Grassley and Ted Cruz.

To these twaddling twatwaffles, I pose a few pointed questions:

  • Where were you when the Patriot Act was passed and reauthorized again, and again, and again?
  • Where were you when the FISA star chamber courts were reauthorized again and again and again?
  • Where were you when the Durham report dropped, exposing what a 100% illegal sham Crossfire Hurricane was?
  • Where were you when J6-ers were held indefinitely and abused in pre-trial detention, OVER MISDEMEANORS?
  • Where were you when the FBI was spying on Catholic churches?
  • Where were you when the FBI was spying on parents speaking out at school board meetings?
  • Where were you when Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon were sent to federal prisons, OVER MISDEMEANORS?

Spoiler alert: they were either standing forursquare behind the spook State, and/or had headed to the tall grass and stood silent while their constituents were having their rights violated and lives ruined.

But now that THEIR civil and constitutional rights have been trampled upon, it's Katie bar the door!

And you and your party of ******* simpering pussies wonder why I don't vote at all, let alone for your sorry asses?

How about this...

**** YOU AND THE HORSES YOU RODE IN ON!

Ted Cruz acts like a Hollywood actor. He might as well become the movie star of Capitol Hill! lol. :)

Ted Cruz's phone records were indeed targeted by a subpoena issued by then-special counsel Jack Smith as part of investigations related to Trump and the January 6 Capitol attack. The subpoena requested detailed phone records from January 4-7, 2021, including inbound and outbound calls, text messages, and voicemail records. However, Cruz's phone records were not analyzed because AT&T, his service provider, did not comply with the subpoena.

Cruz has publicly condemned the subpoena, calling the investigation "the Biden administration's 21st-century digital Watergate" and accusing the DOJ and FBI of weaponizing their powers to engage in targeted political spying against him, Trump, and other political opponents. This subpoena was part of a broader effort that included similar requests for phone records of other Republican senators.

AT&T's refusal to comply stands in contrast with Verizon, which complied with subpoenas for records of other GOP lawmakers. The subpoenas were narrowly tailored to a four-day period around January 6, 2021, and did not include the contents of communications, only metadata.

In sum, yes, Ted Cruz's phone records were targeted by Jack Smith's subpoena, but they were not handed over or analyzed due to AT&T's noncompliance. Cruz views this as politically motivated spying at the highest levels of the Biden administration. axios+4
