I felt the same after I was willing to risk my life when applying to the Canadian military and then finding out decades later that 40 years of my life were stolen, including multiple careers and my intimate relations.
These same creepy police would have been blindly supported by Ford. The Lawfare against Trump is blindly supported by those who believe that the police and justice system deserve to do as they please because "they can never be wrong".
I suppose Canada will have to retaliate and adapt. If Trump referred to it as a "human rights tariff" and welcomed feedback from Canadians to support this framing, it would REALLY put us in a bind.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Tuesday that U.S. president-elect Donald Trump's threat to slap a 25 per cent tariff on all Canadian goods is "like a family member stabbing you right in the heart."
"It's the biggest threat we've ever seen ... It's unfortunate, its very, very hurtful to Canadians and Americans on both sides," Ford said to media at Queen's Park.
Ford stressed the roughly $500 billion in annual trade between Ontario and the U.S. and said, while the tariff would hurt the Canadian economy, it would also wreak havoc on American workers and employers.
