yep, govt needs to be better. The first, most important solution, is to change the way we elect our representatives.

The US FPTP system leads to bad politicians.

PR is a much better system, depending on how it's organized (the Weimar Republic didn't work well, but the Germans changed the way PR worked and it's much stronger now), can be better for oversight from the people.

But no MAGA people are talking about this, and when I present it to them, they just ignore it. I wonder why.

At least until they can meet new Citizen Behaviour Standards and present an officially approved ID card with a minimum acceptable social inclusion score .

Having potentially dangerous people run around without Identity Cards is undemocratic and grossly unfair to the vast majority of decent and law abiding citizens .

I was taking a somewhat surreal / sarcastic/ futuristic look at matters .
And mixing intentional racism ( not my personal view ) with a possible future that is largely unconsidered as yet .

But nobody "bit" the bait .
Surely it is far more interesting to look at the possibility of all the rogues being part of Deep State -- but of different factions within a small total of say a 4-500 super wealthy and powerful group.
This would include Putin , Obama , Trump, even Gates as big cogs , Musk as a rising star and someone like Biden as a dispensable minion .
Nobody in Europe qualifies beyond minion level though Blair might be embroiled and Tusk would like to be. Conceivably Farage and Meloni are being groomed
Quite where China and India fit I do not know but I have made private guesses .
