Simon just didi a flawless routine on the balance beam.

Suni Lee did okay on her dance routine, but she stepped out of bounce at the end and deducted a bit

Jordan Chiles was flawless on her floor exercise dance routine and she scored high.

Jade Carey was a hot mess. You have to see it to believe it.

She flipped flipped and flipped... then fell, and her entire body rolled off the exercise floor. It was terrible! She did not complete her routine. She just walked off.

Her "dad" is her coach.

Simone completed her floor exercise. She did good. She did step out of bounce a tiny bit, but her routine has so much difficulty in it she scored high.

Having a parent as a coach is a double-edged sword for some athletes. Hard to separate the relationships sometimes.

Her dad may be trying to jump start him a gymnast coaching career by coaching his daughter, and just maybe he's done a pretty good job so far.

However, there is just something else his daughter needs in her ear- that balance from someone else's words.

Jordan Chiles did exceptionally well on the vault.

They tried to make sure they had a "racially balanced" group of gymnast in America - Asian, White, Black, and Hispanic.

For the men's gymnast they did the exact same thing-racially balanced.

Jade Carey did much better on the vault.

Simone ran super fast, hit the vault and threw herself into the air, and flipped around in the air three different times for her first vault scoring a 15.8

That sport is so dangerous.

They are on Paris time which is 6-7 hours ahead of America time. That's another reason they could not participate in the opening ceremony-no time for that kind of excitement for they perform.

She did a really good job on the uneven bars scoring 13.9

Jordan did a great job on the uneven bars scoring 14.6

Simone on the uneven bars a "surprise" score of 14.4, normally she is not as good on this routine, but she did well.

Suni Lee did super-good on the uneven bars. She scored high.
