This simply has to stop. Ohio State also lost their coach before the Big Ten Championship. The guy that called the plays stepped aside for the last two games, which ended up in loses for Ohio State.

And I can give a myriad more examples, such as head coach Rodriguez stepping down from West Virginia the night before he was to play Pitt. All he had to do was win that game and he goes to the National Championship game, but no. He was all consumed with his new career and money as he left his fans and team in the dust, going to Michigan instead of coaching the game at Pitt, which WVU lost.

But fate got even with Rod, as he then went on to become the absolute worst head coach in Michigan football history, losing to Appy State of all teams in their own home turf.

But you get the idea. There is no other sport where the team begins to unravel right before the biggest game of the year, the one game they have fought hard to play and win all year.

It simply is inexcusable.

Actually Lloyd Carr lost to Appy State at home which was the catalyst for his being fired and paving the way for Rich Rod to get that job.

My bad, but I do recall Michigan having the worst teams in their history after Rod took over.

Oh well, enjoy the mess.

Just one more reason I'd never support college football.

It makes 0 sense to support indoctrination centers.

It’s a simple calendar change that needs to happen. There’s no reason to have signing day and to open the portal before the season is actually over. That’s what’s driving these problems.

That's true. Rodriguez had everything going well at WVU. He was lured by the big program. Unfortunately, Nehlen encouraged him to go.
