Official Rams@Bears NFCD game, 18JAN2026.

There was no push off dude

Watch again the only reason I mention it is you always argue no matter what on PI. I thought He shoved off (lightly, cleanly) to gain separation. How else was he suddenly alone?

Maybe the DB saw the ball and misjudged it?

I'm not expert on the wild PI calls they come up with or not. You are, evidently.

It would be a hail Mary if three DB were fighting him for the ball. There is nowhere else to "drop it" but in the bucket. You can call it what you like. But when you launch a pass way up then down to an area of the end zone, I call it a desperation, hail Mary.

Again this was not a line drive between 2 DB.

It would have been more memorable if he had completed the deal! Caleb had his chance! :dunno:

I think it is fair to say that Williams is a legit big game QB. He's made more impossible 4th quarter TD passes this year than most QBs make in a career. Just amazing.

To be fair Im pretty argumentative. That said I didnt see a push off.

He's making up for us not drafting Mahomes! You never know how Bear Mngt. would have formed his career! Caleb the 1st QB to get over 4000 yds. passing! Even w/ Kramer, we didn't throw the ball around wildly! :dunno: :p:stir::oops:

Luck ran out for the Bears, but they have had an incredible season by any measure. I thought McVay made some questionable play calls in the final minutes before overtime, like why did he run it on 3rd down with barely over 2 minutes left? You throw in that situation, as it was like 3rd and 7, and you are driving for the winning score. The clock is going to stop at the 2:00 mark anyway. Instead they get nothing, punt, and the Bears score that crazy 4th down TD.

I wonder if Johnson was considering going for 2 to win it. If he failed he would have had all off season to regret the decision. Also, was DJ Moore to blame for Caleb's pick? He was not running that route very well.

It was not like the DET push off (im still mad on that one), not a direction change. But he straightened his left arm out into the guy. Maybe just feeling where he was? Like Fiero points out (and you have other times) they were both kind of fighting for position.

I think McVeigh was making them CHI use up a timeout at 2:07 if I remember right.

The reward? Red hot rested SEA at the kingdome or whatever that place is called.

Rams - Seahawks should be good, a good defense versus Stafford and McVay's offense. Not sure you can trust Darnold in a game this big, he didn't play that well against the Niners, but didn't need to.

Replay analysis of that Kaleb pass picked off in OT looks really bad. What the heck was he thinking? Not even sure which Bear it was intended to, as it was off by so much? A Line drive pass for no reason into double Rams. Turning a possible victory (close to a FG) into a defeat.

RB Williams on LA looks like offense MVP last night running over or around Bears all night.

Rams defense was also legit. Stopping 4th and goal up 17-10. Bears tried a Pete Carrol SEA SB desperation quick pass right into the teeth of the Defense.

I think it was a miscommunication between Williams and Moore. Moore was breaking deep and Caleb was throwing him to the sideline. I believe it's called flattening out the route. The guy who intercepted the ball just made a great play. He's a safety he shouldn't have come down on that route he has over the top coverage. There's really no reason for Williams to think he would come down on the route as it's actually not the right play for a safety to make. It worked out and it was a great play but it wasnt the right play if that makes sense.

Didn't the new Pope said when he was chosen that a man from Chicago was chosen Pope before a Chicago quarterback threw for 4,000 yds. Well, that happened also.

HOU was still in the game up to halftime perhaps (getting the ball to start second half). I was thinking time to put in Mills, benching Stroud at half. But these NFL coaches almost never will do that? Mills has stronger arm and taller, but cant run like Stroud can.

I didn't want to be ridiculed on these boards (more than normal).
They have won a lot of games using Mills (15 point+++ 4th quarter comeback vs. JCKVILLE).
