AP KAILUA, Hawaii (Reuters) – U.S. President-elect Barack Obama said on Tuesday he agreed that Senate Democrats "cannot accept" any move by Illinois' scandal-tarred governor to name a replacement for Obama's Senate seat.

Obama said he was disappointed that Gov. Rod Blagojevich -- who has been accused of trying to sell the vacant Senate seat -- had appointed former state attorney general Roland Burris to fill the vacancy.

KMAN is exactly right. If John McCain said this, he would be called everything in the book by the African American Community. He would win "The Biggest Racist Award" from Jesse Jackson Sr.

However, Obama (and I hate to say it...) is absolutely right on this issue. He knows that anyone that Blago appoints is tainted, even if he was to appoint the most honest person in America. With Obama supporting Reid and Jesse White's decisions, we probably won't see any Blago appointments seated.
