Looked on the source website and so far there's no update explaining just what the deal was with this woman.

I've never seen one cover hair and face and leave arms uncovered. In Egypt, I did see some with the scarf over the hair with tight jeans and plunging necklines, faces were not covered, but ankles were covered. But I've never seen one with the face covered and arms or ankles exposed. On the plane home, the ones wearing niqab took it down for the flight, touched up make up just before landing, and put it back on to deplane.

There's more to this story. Her dress probably ran up a red flag, as it should have.

Also, she is NOT in a 'burka'. It could well be that her clothes raised some suspicions. I'd have to wonder why she'd wear a full niqab but also short sleeves and capri pants. But obviously her actions are what got her removed from the arena. I have to agree with the person who wrote the article at your link --- 'she' looks a lot like a man.

To add to this, there was a Virginia man arrested this week by the Secret Service for making threats against the President. I expect them to be vigilant at all times, but in an open arena? I'm sure that vigilance is on hyper-drive.
