The military faught wars and made us free, unions faught labor wars and made the American Great Big Middle Class what it is today. Or what it was before Bush got his hands on the wheel. Lots of rich people today in fact came from very poor backgrounds and that is why they are rich, they were bound and determined NOT to be poor.
