Imagine you are about to be attacked by an angry mob. They are angry about something that someone else, not you, did. Do you really having a problem with someone sending out a "It's not us" message before being mobbed?

They were not harmed because they left. There was no one to harm. Like the embassy in Libya was evacuated. No one at the Libyan embassy was harmed either. Ambassador Stevens wasn't attacked at the Embassy in Tripoli, but at the consular office in Benghazi where he went to help the consular office evacuate.

They all knew, but obama is saying no one knew.
