Oregon has harsher restrictions state-wide ... tenancies of less than 21 days have some prohibitions in residential areas ... this is a commercial business and commercial businesses have to stay in the commercial districts ... same with heavy industry ... can't build a steel smelter facility in a quiet neighborhood ...

The article is very one-sided and doesn't even attempt to address the problems of AirBnB facilities ... if you exempt one- and two-family residences from the short-term tenancy rules, then Wall Street will buy up all the one- and two-family residences for AirBnB service ... in order to avoid the restrictions at hotels, and to avoid the taxes paid by hotels ...

Does anyone have sample financial statements from these types of operations? ... I honestly don't think these homeowners are making as much money as the article seems to indicate ... I've managed rentals, bathroom repairs are EXPENSIVE ...

Maybe if they were to volunteer to take illegals as short term renters the mayor would get on board
/——/ Staten Island says NOPE to illegals.

Even though the city counsel promised they wouldn’t go after homeowners who do short term rentals for income, they reversed their decision and will now impose $5,000 fines.
Seems like you should do whatever you want with your own home.

Yeah....no shit

I heard that the federal government is paying $180 a day per person to put illegals up.

The White liberals of Staten Island don't want any more diversity there.
