Well played, nutters.

NRA Holds Annual Convention in a State Where Guns Now Kill More Than Cars Do Mother Jones

Guns kill more people than cars do in a growing number of states, according to a new analysis of national mortality data from the Violence Policy Center. The reportfinds that in 2013, firearm-related deaths exceeded those caused by motor vehicles in 17 states and the District of Columbia. This means that four more states have crossed this threshold since 2012, including Louisiana, Missouri, Virginia, and Tennessee. In Nashville this Friday, the National Rifle Association opens the doors to its 144th annual convention.

That "cars" talking point was dumb to begin with -- totally missing the point. And the fact that cars are registered to an owner.

Now their talking point is void.

LOL nice try
You might want to just stay in your cave, its a scary world for you.

Why are you mad at the ever improving safety features of modern day vehicles?

Not sure I see why this is relevant. So what? I live in Nashville and am planning on going to the convention on Sunday. Like about a million other people. And yes, I will go with my gun.

This is another one of those completely misleading stats the left loves to tout.
Nationwide over half of firearm deaths are suicide, Tennessee is no doubt right in that same ballpark.
Once you rule those out, far more die in traffic accidents.

Well played, nutters.

Guns are registered to valid gun owners just like automobiles. Only stolen guns and stolen cars are in the possession of goddamn thieves. GUESS WHO USES THEM?
