Back before government-funded public radio fully morphed into a bastion of anti-Americanism, NPR had a tradition of reading the Declaration of Independence every July 4.

With NPR, PBS, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting fully captured by the America-hating left, the annual reading of the Declaration became a distasteful experience for NPR’s journalists. Effective July 4, 2022, NPR officially terminated its annual reading of the Declaration of Independence, replacing it instead with a discussion of what a despicable country the United States is and has always been.
