It was Socialism that forced politicians to give the people pensions, a modicum of Healthcare, no child labor, etc. in short most of the social system that has made All of the Western world prosperous.What I think you are referring to is Communism.

I listened to one of the kids give his speech yesterday on CNN What did he talk about? His commitment to activism, and he mentioned diversity and a few other buzzwords.

This is what this generation aspire to, thanks to 8 years of Obama. They were raised as kids by an activist as president. Now they have the opposite, a businessman in the WH. They and many of their low performing teachers hate it, they can't understand it, they pull out their hair and the nation of socialists rise up to some artificial tyranny by desiring to destroy peoples rights.

Instead of this kid saying, "I hope to one day start a business, develop a cog or a better mousetrap and become a multi-national corporation who will employee 100,000 people around the globe", this kid proudly says "I'm going to be an activist!"

You’re touting SS as a success? The ****? A system you get to pay every week of your life for. That earns you a staggering 1200 bucks a month, if you live long enough to get it. If they don’t move the retirement age on you. Money you put in that when you do die even if you never withdrew a dime, doesn’t go to your family they just keep it.
