I agree that the words "racist" and "racism" are thrown around to the point they've lost their power....just like the words "communist" and "socialist".

So naturally they do what they do best, and that's play the race card against Conservatives.
The problem is, that race card is starting to backfire. Honest hardworking people who haven't a racist bone in their body are getting fed up. And sadly, I see a backlash coming. Barack Obama will be the last black president in our lifetime. Because Americans are outright tired of the constant race baiting simply because they may disagree with the man's politics.
This will also hinder a woman's chances because we do not want to constantly hear we don't like Hillary "because she's a woman".
Obama's election was supposed to heal racial divides. Instead it exacerbated it. I have witnessed the absolutely vile remarks thrown at any black Republican by the left wingnuts. Clarence Thomas is a good man, but he's an "idiot" and "Uncle Tom" because he doesn't follow liberal dogma.
No, the Conservatives aren't the racists here. It's the left who play that race baiting card every chance they get.
Personally I would love to see Condi Rice run for President, just to piss off the liberal racists.
