Taking into consideration what I have seen in the military, I can only take these people seriously, because doing otherwise has horrific consequences.
I know what it's like when authoritarian governments take power.
And people like Pelosi think they can get away with anything they want.
The are blinded by power.
The nutcases we've seen on social-media (since the election was decided) is a direct reflection of the people they vote into office. They claimed to offer their voters hope and joy, yet all they have to offer us is blinding hatred.
Hatred of anyone who would vote for Trump caused Jan 6th.
Blinding hatred for people they despise with every fiber of their being.
People that hate that much cannot be trusted to run our government fairly.
No argument from me there. But I still think if we are going to figuratively hang somebody, the ethical thing is to hang them for crimes they actually commit. And I don't know that anyone has the proof--or at least has shown the proof--that Pelosi was an instigator of the J6 riot. I do know there is sufficient reason to make her a person of interest in that.

Well, I'm sorry, this is news to me made all the worse because I really can't tell what happened or how just from a still photo. A picture of a crowd with a circle around a person is not enough to prove to me they were shot by a rubber bullet in the head under direct orders from the police.
I'd like to see some congressional investigation of this.
Really, the whole problem that day was a matter of CROWD CONTROL. Despite weeks advance notice, apparently someone really F--ked up and apparently that was Nancy. By her own admission, had she ordered the proper numbers of people, the crowd could have been kept at bay and Ashli Babbitt (and a couple others) would be alive today.
Worse, the Ellipse rally was the ONLY rally of Trump's in six years NOT to be counter-protested--- a clear sign they were told to stay away for the purpose of then having no one else to blame but Trump and the attending Trump supporters--- that in itself implies advanced knowledge that things would get out of hand.

Guess what.......they have ordered The Capital Police to have everyone turn over their communications. Emails, cell phone calls, you name it......and they're looking to see what really happened on the lead-up to Jan 6th.
So, as long as they haven't destroyed everything they'll have a good idea what went on.

Yes. A healthy dose of complete truth would be a very good thing. But as long as there is a Senate and White House barrier between us and the truth, I am not optimistic that will be possible to attain. But we can hope.
