A few hours ago, the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, Maria Corina Machado, offered her NPP medal to President Trump, saying that he is who deserved it the most. She ⁠did not ⁠answer ‍reporters' questions as to ‌whether he accepted ⁠it.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee and the Norwegian Nobel Institute said the Nobel Peace Prize “cannot be revoked, shared, or transferred,” emphasizing that the committee’s decision is final and that the award remains with the named laureate.

Well, maybe they think that, but many Americans, Venezuelans, Indians, Pakistanis, residents of Thailand, Cambodia, Rwanda, Congo, Serbia, Kosovo, Egypt, Ethiopiaet al may think the same as Ms Machado.

That is true. It does not matter whether Trump is given the Nobel voluntarily or he coerces Machado into giving it up, it is the same. The fact is Trump has telegraphed what he wants. Machado is a patriot to her country and will offer it up for the good of her people. It is a debased individual who would accept it under those conditions.
