Tesla has already addressed the loss of range in cold weather. Model Y has heat pump to solve issue of range in cold weatherEV's efficiency and driving range is cut almost in half during cold weather. Which the People's Republic of Canada has in spades.
When people accidentally slide their car off the road into a deep snowbank during the dark winter and are trapped. Many have lived because they could keep their ICE heater running and not freeze to death.
With an EV the heater, already halfway drained because of the cold temperature, will quickly quit working when the battery power is drained, and anyone trapped in the car will quickly turn into a human popsicle . ...

It's more or less like seeing an incoming comet and then deciding to sit down and make a law against it. LOLI'll make the prediction right now that it won't happen, at least not that soon. The technology won't be there to be efficient enough.

Used Gas Cars will become highly in demand.
There prices will go way up.
People will be driving their Gas Cars for decades.
BTW, EV do not stop CO2, they just displace it at the Power Generators.
The whole thing is another left wing crackpot farce.

So, what you are saying is that ICE's will be in high demand, even though they are less reliable, cost far more to maintain, do not perform or handle as well as EV's, and they stink. LOL Maybe for total idiots. LOL
By 2025, EV's of equal quality will be less costly than ICE's to buy, less costly to maintain, and far less costly to run. With the top end vehicles coming out next year with ranges 400 to 500 miles, some even further. By 2025, many will have that range. The technology is here already.I'll make the prediction right now that it won't happen, at least not that soon. The technology won't be there to be efficient enough.
