Theater for the rubes, and not one actual example of a soldier not being able to vote. A GOP circle jerk, where they say stuff and then cite each other.
I did. You didn't. The blogger may have, but didn't describe it. And it's the MI SoS. So he is either ignorant or is intentionally deceiving ignorant people.
It isn't my opinion, it is the opinion of a professional that even likes Trump.
Just being realistic friend.
“In 2016 I was a visiting professor at Duke University and the only nontenured full-time university faculty member in the entire nation to have publicly endorsed then-candidate Trump. Professor Paul Gottfried, a distinguished academic with whom I had had some scholarly correspondence, invited me to give a talk at the Mencken Club. Seeing as other academics whom I admire had spoken there in the past, including Charles Murray and Patrick Deneen, I said yes. I do not regret it. To be sure, there were a few in attendance who had expressed politically incorrect views, though nothing even as remotely as bizarre as the many outright communists I have attended conferences with throughout my career as an academic. Curiously, I have not been thereby smeared as having “ties to communists.”
So the "national programming" issue the upstanding blogger did not see fit to describe in his amazing journalism is thus:
On handicap accessible machines, MI voters cannot hit the straight ticket button, then split the ticket. They must split the ticket themselves and enter their votes for each candidate.
Only 7 States allow one button, straight ticket voting.
Put the piece of shit zero hedge blog and headline aside and examine the facts, and what you find is that the blog is yet another right wing nothing burger manufactured to make gullible people invent fantasies in their heads.
That's fake news to distract from what the Republicans actually did to disenfranchise the Military and family vote from overseas..... There is no shortage of blank ballots for those not receiving their ballot from their state in time.
I wonder how a blank absentee ballot would even work for the Military who did not receive their requested ballot from their state in time?
Each guy will likely be from a different town and district in a different state with different representatives and candidates running. And each State may also have referendum on the ballot....(Maine has 5 this year). How does a BLANK absentee ballot help them if the referendums and candidates they would have on a printed ballot as their choices varies? Will it get transposed on to an absentee ballot BLANK, different for each guy serving....or most of them?
