Vote by mail has always been part of an election

No it has not!

I recieved an application for an ABSENTEE ballot. In order to get one I had to give them my name, address, B-date, drivers license number, last 4 digits of my SSN...and sign under penalty of perjury that I am over age 17, a legal citizen, a MN resident, not a felon, and I am allowed to vote.

Not exactly the same as a mass mailing of 80 million ballots to anybody and their illegal uncle now is it?

The incompetence of NJ is glaring. They'll have this thing so screwed up. Probably going to be hilarious.

Not hard to count ballots. Ballots go out in the first week in October and will be counted as soon as they are received.

Cheating on mail in / absentee ballots should be prevented, as all vote cheating should be prevented. I do not tar the whole absentee / mailing process now, anymore than I did when the republican guy in North Carolina cheating the congressional election was caught, prosecuted and the state had to run the election again.
