Nicholas Maduro has been captured: Trump

This isn't going to help you son. You're now just 11 months away from having Democrats control the last two years of the criminal regime.

God, I can only imagine the whining and crying I'm going to have to listen to from pedo lovers.

By all means make your entire 2026 campaign about Epstein. I'll even help you. :laughing0301:

Hopefully as some point we'll find out what shady business deals Trump has been setting up in anticipation of this. That's why he does pretty much anything.

I could have sworn we were going to stay the hell out of military actions in foreign countries. Now we're in the business of nation-building again.

Oh well. Some things never change. I wonder who's next.

What the Hell is wrong with you? Maduro is a dictator. The people of that country can now get on with their life's, regaining their freedom. But you use this great event to trash our president when you should at the least give him a thumbs up. Only a sorry a-hole clown with advanced TCS would foam at the mouth about this and I'm being a real nice guy. No it's not about drugs, it's about the people of that nation tasting freedom for the first time in four years. You embarrass yourself.
I'd ask why we didn't do Mexico or Colombia first, but why bother.

We're supposed to pretend this is about Venezuelan drugs.

"Illegal" how? Because no declaration of war was voted on by Congress? It's not like the first time that's ever happened, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama both did the same thing.

During his presidency, Barack Obama's administration initiated several military actions, particularly in Libya, Syria, Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia, that generated significant legal and constitutional debate regarding their legality, both under U.S. domestic law (specifically the War Powers Resolution) and international law.

The primary domestic legal controversy centered on the President's authority to use military force without specific congressional authorization, as required by the War Powers Resolution and Article I of the U.S. Constitution, which vests the power to declare war in Congress.

Libya Intervention (2011): The administration argued that its involvement in the NATO-led intervention to protect civilians and enforce a UN no-fly zone was a "limited kinetic military action" and not a "war" in the constitutional sense, thus not requiring full congressional approval beyond notification. This interpretation was highly contested by legal scholars and members of Congress from both parties, who argued it was a clear violation of the War Powers Resolution. The House of Representatives even voted to rebuke the president over the issue.

Drone Strikes and Counterterrorism Operations: The Obama administration expanded the use of drone strikes in countries like Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia, primarily under the authority of the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) passed after the 9/11 attacks. This was also controversial, with civil liberties groups and some legal experts arguing that the broad interpretation of the AUMF for actions far from "hot battlefields" violated constitutional and international law, as it allowed for targeted killings of suspected terrorists (including U.S. citizens) without judicial review.

But it's only bad if Trump does it to a country that's flooding our nation with drugs and gang members, right?
Meh. I didn’t weigh in on whether I supported it or not in that post you snowflake. I made two true statements.

The action was illegal.

Maduro was bad.

I think anything like this ought to have congress approval. What if the next attack is on Canada? Ridiculous scenario but there is a reason we set it up the way we did. Called a check and balance.

Wrong again. He said no more unnecessary wars in the Middle East.

He has no problem carrying out military strikes that benefit our national security.

In this case, Maduro already has indictments and charges to face. This will also greatly benefit our country in the long run by allowing back in oil companies Maduro kicked out illegally.

Not to mention it will be very good for the Venezuelan people to not live under a socialist dictator. Of course that last part really upsets lefties. Socialist dictators are to be revered and emulated. I won’t be surprised when some Obama appointed judge orders Maduro’s release.

Who questioned the results of the Mexican or Columbian elections? Either way those folks are cartel figureheads, you need to take down the cartels first. Trump just gave a blueprint on how to do that. Your undying support of narco-states is noted.
