For years, the NFL had just two games on Thanksgiving Day, with the Cowboys hosting one and the Lions hosting another.

Over the years, though, the NFL has added a Thanksgiving Night game, too. And, recently, the NFL even added a Black Friday game.

Now, a Wednesday night game is being considered.

According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the NFL is flirting with the idea of playing a game on Thanksgiving Eve this fall. It would add to an already growing holiday schedule for the NFL.

"NFL now is exploring playing a game on Thanksgiving Eve as early as this season," Schefter said. "This year this would be Wednesday, Nov. 25."

Brought to you by Fan Duel.....You can bet most extra games will be on streaming services too. 😐

I read where the CBS's NFL contract is in trouble.
