I saw where two threads have been closed. I'll try and post so this one stands.

$67 million. Not close to the near $800 million Fox News paid but still a sizable sum.

All over the lies of someone who couldn't stand losing. If they truly believed they wouldn't
Get a fair shake in that court that is what appeals are for.

At least American Thinker had the fortitude to admit they lied.

Hmm, what happened to free speech?
Wasn't it the other that people were arguing that you should be able to say whatever you want, whenever you want?

Hmm....

No doubt, due to the terms of the settlement, neither Fox nor Newsmax can report what happened. Both Fox and Newsmax recycled information from a CNN investigative report on Dominion and Smartmatic, showing their machines and software were not secure and easily hacked. From this, CNN speculated that the 2016 election was stolen from Hillary Clinton by the Trump Republicans, no doubt with Russian collusion.Fast forward four years to 2020, and it was obvious that the Dems had retaliated and corrupted the mail-in ballot process to allow swing state election officials to certify something that was based on an uncertifiable process and should have been thrown out. Rather than go with the obvious, Fox and Newsmax dug up CNN's report and pushed it, assuming that Democrats would believe their own (CNN) shills. Of course, Dems believe truth is political, and they got their sympathetic judges to block any challenge to the election's legitimacy before evidence could be presented. Dominion took advantage of this judicial corruption and filed lawsuits against Fox and Newsmax for reporting the same things CNN did in 2016. They already knew that certain judges would preemptively prevent Fox and Newsmax from presenting a defense based on well-established libel precedent because it would suggest the election was stolen, and that was not allowed as evidence. Talk about a Catch-22. Dominion couldn't lose, so they filed a lawsuit that was legal extortion and won. After years of wasting time and money, both Fox and Newsmax secured a settlement that they could write off, pleasing their shareholders and bankers. In their statements, both Fox and Newsmax deny the charges and admit they had to cave to the kangaroo court because it was the cheapest way to end the whole sorry mess.

Nobody is right and settles for $800 million.

slander and pretending that you’re a news outlet while deliberately peddling stuff you know are lies is an abuse of free speech.

CCP off shoot Dominion as stated had a win win situation thanks to a rigged judicial situation.
No evidence of any affiliation with CCP. But you Trumpster like the sound of it, so you go with that as an all purpose lie.

You made up every bit of that self serving drivel.

Try again I said off shoot. Of course nothing direct that would be obvious even for the CCP but the software developers also did the software for Venezuela when Hugo Chavez was in power and that was CHina. The CCP was more subtle with the US so useful idiots like you can post plausible deniability.
