American teens can swap their cap and gown for construction hats, high-visibility vests, and a whopping six figure salary straight out of high school, with one New York company offering students full time jobs without a college degree.

Harrison & Burrowes, a construction company founded more than 40 years ago, is offering full time positions, paying up to $47 an hour after completing its summer apprenticeship.

Those construction workers will be paying off the student loans for a legion of degreed layabouts who majored in diversity studies.
Don't we all.

LOL....In before some leftist says that they can't live on $47.00 a hour....You know how they hate "the great unwashed" learning a skill.

Edit: Damn, beat like a rented mule. :laughing0301:

I was earning forty seven bucks an hour in construction fifteen years ago the wage is too low.

No college requirements? Why would a construction company require college graduates? English speaking would be important so that eliminates most of the labor force these days. You have to be able to duck when somebody yells "watch out" rather than cuidado.

Then you were an Operator or a civil engineer. A laborers wage was $33 an hour then.
