I haven't been to a movie in a theater in about 6 years.
But this one will tempt me.
Spielberg is an incredibly great director and this movie reflects a lot of what's going on right now: talk about disclosure has rippled through Congress for months now, Marco Rubio has confessed in a documentary that they're here.
I think Spielberg has a lot of contacts in government and the UFO community and it wouldn't surprise me if this film is an attempt to further prepare us for the inevitable.

Seems pretty lame on the face of it.

The trailer did absolutely nothing for me.....

At best an odd attempt at the movie Signs (crop circles and similar alien language) with the .gov involved for the wiz-bang chase and a nod to Area 51 fans tossed in for good measure....He even ripped-off Independence Day there at the end of the trailer.

When it shows up on one of my cable package channels I'll watch it......I'd certainly not schlepp to a theater and pay to see it.

Enjoyed most of Spielberg's films over the years. Far as I'm concerned, he fell off a cliff when he did the dog and pony show for Biden's reelection.
