Fortunately, there are source documents that confirm that the Jews are recent squatters that stole the lane.
Ahh, so you admit that all the Jews 'stole' was a lane. Hardly a whole country, lol. Sorry, just couldn't help myself.
But seriously. This thread starts about an archeological discovery in the land of Israel (the western portion of the Mandate for Palestine) and all you can do is deflect, detract, confuse and deny? Based upon all historical means necessary, what ever suits your purpose, Sara?
Intersting how whenever something favorable to Israel is presented the Palestinian supporters just disappear or try to change the subject.
Not even a mention of any Palestinians when recorded history began. Golly gee, I wonder why that is? Boy that's a tough one, huh?
Weither is was philistines, the byzantian palaestina prima or the arabs of modern palestinian authority, they were all invaders to the land.
Most peoples of the world are invaders of migrants from some place else. Populations are not static.
Jews happen to have more history and religious connection to the land throughout time and documented history. They were there according to Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Greek, Roman, Persian and Arab historians and documents. They were rulers of the land with their own culture, language and religious beliefs. The god of Adam, Noah, Jacob, Issac, Joseph, Moses and Jesus has been adopted by christians and muslims alike. Jews and Israel are part of history and cannot be erased no matter what some modern palestinians try to say. The Temple was a historical fact as the most holy place to jews past and present. Jerusalem has been part of their prayers for three thousand years.
Jews were invited to return to their historic homeland by the ottomans in the 19th century, as a people. Individuals and families have been working their way home since the time of Moses.
Their identity has always been with Israel and Jerusalem, and always will be.
