New College of Florida tosses hundreds of library books, empties gender diversity library

A dumpster in the parking lot of Jane Bancroft Cook Library on the campus of New College overflowed with books from the Gender and Diversity Center.

well Florida college dumps tons of books. They say the classes got these does not exist there anymore. why toss them in a land fill? why not donate to a second hand store. seems like not over flowing landfills and saving the earth would be a priority. cant donate book bought with state funds. that's stupid. never should have started the class in the first place then they would not have to trash all these books.
