As a reglar citizen gittin close to 80, I am aware that accordin to youtube, I’m livin on borrowed time. I can’t stand on one leg, walk slow, and my wife kin beat me at TV Jeppardy on account of my thinkin speed makes a sloth look like a grayhound. I probly shoulda been dead 10 years ago by website standards, but I am still here so I got opinyuns. That is probly why the elites come up with that Covid plague to get ridda peeple like me that talk too much. I threw away the tobacco, the weed, and the booze decades ago so I probly ain’t dyin fast enough from bad lungs, a saturated liver, a clogged heart, and two dead kidneys. In other words, I do not fit the mold of a good city petty offishal.

Them petty offishals in my town has come up with a grand idea. Their gonna have theirselfs bicycle lanes downtown crammed between the sidewalks and the street! Them petty offishals stampeded to vote for Joe Biden, a man whoose wisdom equals Forest Gump from the neck up, so the quality of the think tank that developed this futuristic genius theory is suspect right from the start. But I can tell you from historical experience, that ain’t gonna stop em.

I got this new doctor at the medical center that Keeps tellin me to take a Statin. If I take that Statin I can drink like a fish, eat like pig, smoke like chimney, and sit in line at Burger King lookin forward to a long, healthy life without wearin out my shoes from walkin anywhere apparently. Accordin to that medical center there is nothin like a mirakilus new drug to save the day! The city medical center fits the woke city like a hand in glove!

Well, I ain’t got no big Harvard educashun, but I know a bag of manure when I see one. I figgerd out a long time ago that it was not a good idea to live the full-bellied, alcoholic, weed-whackin lifestile of city petty offichals and just swallow a Statin to protect me from city livin. I wasn’t one to be throwin cocaine up my nose 50 years ago so even though my brain is slower than it once was, it still works just fine like the toaster I have had for many years.

First of all, them slobs that are runnin the city thought it was a great idea to erect a great big new liquor store on the city line to help the peeple think and drive better. There is nothin like an easy to find giant package store to keep drivers in their proper lanes in the new whirligig modern experience of city roundabouts. That is why they are petty offishals and you ain’t by the way!

I ride my bicycles every day and spend a fair amount of cash keepin em on the road because I don’t trust them big-eatin, hard-drinkin petty offishals any farther than I can run in quicksand. I don’t need window-dressin safety standards downtown that are just there for show to show me how to ride my bike. I know better than to ride my bike anywhere near downtown even though many do not!

When I see petty offishals makin bicycle lanes I ride in the opposite direction because I know makin pictures of bicycles on the road don’t make drivers any smarter or more sober. It does however, make petty offishals look they know somethin and are in some kind of control.

They ain’t, and you are on your own!

Roundabouts and bike lanes. You must be from Wisconsin.

Encouraging adults to ride bicycles is just a boon for the Orthopaedic Surgery business.

I'd love to see how much these sawbones gave to the politicians to promote bicycles.

You don't have to be Ein ******* Stein to understand that people are lot safer riding around in 2 tons of steel that they are on a bike.

MN is getting em. Love the one on HWY 7. ya get to the bottom and get a nice view of bridge abutment as the lane swings right. They were nice enough to add a bike lane so ya have to to stop because of limited vision to oncoming traffic.

Better more bikes on the road than more cars (they're still a pain in the ass though).

My favorite is removing a lane of traffic on Park and Portland avenues for them...Now they're just as ******* clogged up as 35W in the morning and evening.
