Don't step in the minefield.
Never have I seen such an unnecessarily self-inflicted wound done by a large corporation. I mean they voluntarily trashed their own brand and totally flubbed up the recovery efforts making things worse with each move.

In short when it came to stepping on the mines they hit the mark every time.

Not a single pride flag, rainbow, effeminate heterosexual, fag in sight. Hell the women didn't even seem to have makeup on and it's mostly people wearing regular clothes having fun and doing normal things. And it's mostly white people.

It's almost like bud light recognized what their target audience is and what most average American beer drinkers are like.

I still have no interest in drinking it though. I'd rather buy someone else's beer than get a bud light for free.

I remember the original Budweiser 16 oz brown bullet in the glass... Probably the best beverage I've ever had in my life though I don't drink anything with alcohol in it anymore. I don't know what their recipe was but taking one of those out of the refrigerator cold and frosty on a hot day was like putting heaven up to your lips. Then inexplicably... In the middle of having most of the market cornered they changed the recipe. The resulting product tasted watery...had absolutely no traces of the former liquid happiness. Sales dropped off immediately and shortly thereafter they went back to the old recipe but never really recaptured the market.

Bud light is dead but make sure you look into everyone that anheuser busch controls under InBev. There are many. Better off drinking local. Even before this happened you were better off drinking local. Some locals can be weirdos like InBev though.

I only drink local beer. Very local, like breweries I can go to on a weekend afternoon. There are dozens of them here, and in general they make really good beer.

The only color Anheuser-Busch ever cared about was Green. Nothing has changed except their business acumen which was shown to be pretty poor. Beyond that anyone who fools themselves into thinking that the corporation truly cares for any kind of social cause one way or another should learn a lesson by watching the clumsy motions of this DUNDERKLUMPEN marketing plan they tried to field.

Grain Belt's been around a long time! I remember an old photo of my mom sitting on a picnic blanket with my dad, who's drinking a Grain Belt from before I was born! And I'm older than dirt!
