Well, here we go again—the left is in full meltdown mode after Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) introduced a constitutional amendment that could open the door for President Trump to serve a third term in the White House. And honestly, why shouldn’t he? After four years of disastrous Biden policies, America could use another dose of strong, no-nonsense leadership.

Ogles’ amendment would allow a president to serve three terms as long as they aren’t consecutive, meaning Trump could take another shot at 2028. This setup mirrors the Grover Cleveland scenario—who, by the way, was the only president before Trump to win non-consecutive terms. But let’s be real: Cleveland didn’t exactly have Trump’s charisma, success, or ability to send the media into a tailspin with a single post.

The proposed amendment reads: “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than three times, nor be elected to any additional term after being elected to two consecutive terms…” In other words, Trump could theoretically make a comeback if this somehow made it through Congress

Now we are talking about passing some serious legislation.
That 12-year run could turn into 16

No, we don't want this. It would allow Obama to run as well, and he's still young enough to pull it off.

Trump doesn't need to be putting in another 4 years or anything. He'll be tired by the time he's done, he's going at
it hard AF. If this is the best thing Congress can come up with, they need to do better.
How about term limits, bitches?

I think Trump's plan is to resign after 2-1/2 or 3 years, leaving JDV with a period to build credentials for election in 2028.

Ya know, it isn't how long you're on the clock, it's how much of the job that gets done.
Sounds like a great idea.

Oh God..... Don't they know they're being trolled?
An amendment like that doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting through the legislature. Everybody knows this.

Not going to happen...But the mere suggestion is going to make the heads of the moonbats go.....

It won't fly.

Not a bad idea...Vance is then the incumbent, who can then run for two more elections.

The bad news is that Trumps's massive ego gets in the way of that scenario.

Delusional,delusional, delusional............
Just like your dear leader.

news.yahoo.com · news · republicans-insist-trumpTrump joked about a third term in 2028. So can he run again?

Nov 18, 2024 · Trump and his supporters often insist the Republican is joking or not being literal after he faces scrutiny for his statements, including after the Access Hollywood scandal.

So much for the constitution.
As though you shitlib ninnies give fuck #1 about the Constitution.

Just stop it already.
