LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Parts of a temporary historical exhibit hung on the walls inside the Nebraska State Capitol were taken down by a state senator on Wednesday, drawing ire from Gov. Jim Pillen.

Pillen took to social media on Wednesday to report that several displays of The Founders Museum traveling exhibit were “ripped off the walls” by state Sen. Machaela Cavanaugh of Omaha.

A 40-second security video shared by Pillen appears to show Cavanaugh taking down the displays and a photo showed the items on the floor of her office."
