Giuliani, who helped lead the former president's legal campaign to overturn the 2020 election, is currently live on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Giuliani is arguing that Trump's legal team could contest the indictment, which he called "unjust" though it has not yet been made public, because it is "a political indictment.”

If others are implicated as well as Trump, Giuliani said, the indictment "ain't going to leave me out."

Giuliani lamented the potential prosecution “of lawyers for attempting to do their job aggressively as we’re supposed to,” adding that he’s nonetheless “proud.

"Georgia grand jury in Trump probe returns an indictment: live updates​

Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan (R) said late Monday he believes an indictment against Trump over his efforts to overturn the state's 2020 election results would strike a blow greater than previous charges against the former president.

“This one feels different,” Duncan said on CNN hours after he appeared before the grand jury in the case.

“Donald Trump did his most damage in Georgia,” he added. “He sucked the soul out of the Republican Party here. He sucked the morality out of the republican party… He sucked our winning percentage out of the Republican Party. He’s taken everything from us. And it’s our turn to take it back.”
