I'm from Cleveland, let me give a you a run-down

1. The Cavs are currently 4th in the East at 31-21. In case you haven't kept up the East is wide open.

2. Defending Eastern Conference Finals MVP Tyrese Haliburton is out for the year.. thus crippling the defending Eastern conference champion pacers.

3. Jason Tatum is out for most of the year thus crippling the competitive Celtics (although they still sit at 2nd in the east at 34-18.)

4. While the Knicks were expected to possibly step up, there are questions as to what they can do.

THUS, let's get to the Cavs, who had the best record in the East last year winning over 60 games.

1. James Harden of 2026 ain't what James Harden is from 2018 (his MVP year).. yet, he continues to be statistically effective and put up some numbers.

2. Word is that Cavs leader Donovan Mitchell wasn't getting along with Garland (who the Cavs traded to the Clippers), and Garland has been injured and undersized

3. Word is Harden wasn't doing well with the Clippers players, and he's durable and bigger.

Ask me up front, I don't like the idea of James Harden (as a Cavs fan). He is in the league of other all-time great scorers who are too much ball-dependent and don't elevate their players... like Allen Iverson, Carmelo Antony, Tracey McGrady, and even Kevin Durant.

However, Garland was injured and not working out. Mitchell only has a few years left in his prime. We have Mobley and Allen as post players who aren't famous but who gives a f_ck.

I'm curious to see how Harden plays out for us.
