The bonus for them this year is that the Skyline Drive/Shenandoah National Park is open but they don't have to pay to get in due to the dem shutdown.
That's $30.00 a carload the US Park Service is missing out on.

I bet it's gonna be a total cluster up there as it's usually all hands on deck this time of year just moving the leaf-lookers through the park at a somewhat steady pace.
Just imagine a solid single line of cars 105 miles long and that is what you have this time of year up there....Now think of that with no park personnel handling the little issues that pop up due to the shutdown.
