Same here. Woke up a bit later to the trembling of my little dog right next to me, as she listening to the fireworks. So I covered her up and hugged her until she calmed down and we both went back to sleep.

The London fireworks were something special.

We didn't watch them this year, one of our little woofs doesn't like fireworks, not even on the TV!!

I lost a 9yr old girl a couple of years ago, she wasn't bothered about the fireworks. I have a 12 yr old boy, he snores through them. I have a 2 yr old girl, she's fine with them, but my other younger 2 yr girl doesn't like them. In fact, she took a few days to get used to sellotape being used. Certain noises, she wants to hide behind you and shake. But I would never ever support a ban on fireworks. It was my choice to own daft little dogs, they're nicer than people.

They are far nicer than people.

Summer here can be a time of nightly thunder storms, so we just need to cuddle a lot. The doc gave me drugs for her, but I don't want to go that far.
