Hi to everyone, I registered under Roman, but that name was taken. So I just doubled it.

I'm a big sports fan and enjoy talking history. I especially like visiting historical sports sites and museums. Would be fun to discuss Forbes Field remnants (U of Pitt campus) and Rickwood field (have not been there yet). I have visited Cooperstown and Canton, but yet to go to Springfield.

Welcome.

I am sure there is some good discussion in those forums.

All the best

I was going to say, it sounds like you should visit the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania then, because from what I hear, a sports team by the name of The Steelers just died there. The word is that 80% of that city is already convinced of a losing season this year in the NFL and the coach of the team moving on to coach state college ball instead.

Apparently there is a record of it, and the Steelers have actually set some new record for the most how bad a team can stink going back 50 years or something.

Are you pretty, normal or Catholic?

Are you huge soccer, basketball or NHL or national team fan in hockey?

Are you military too?

:welcome:

I’m assuming you’ve been to the Pirates current stadium. Best design in all of sports.

I'm originally from Altoona, my father was a big Pirates and Ralph Kiner fan, first dozen or so games I went to see was at Shea in NYC were all against the Pirates [Kiner was the mets announcer]...Forbes was so big he said baseballs used to get lost in the white cups that accumulated in the outfield from the stands...I believe he said the outfield was around 500 feet in some spots.

Roman is a wonderful guy with an interest in sports.

And an interest in Christians?

Sports are great for everyone fancy in sports.

Music falls behind between music interest and sports interest for me, at least.

Interest in music was magnificent before 2023.

Interest in sports win finally.

I've been a sports fan my entire life [got the football game on now]...and I have no reason to believe roman is anything but a great guy, only he can change my mind about that.
