My missing functions

Do what I do. Shut down the computer and unplug it for a minute or two. Then start over.
Or you could just use CTRL i, CTRL u, CTRL b like I just did.

that happened to me and I corrected it thru hitting the last menu bar item, the gear. They came back.

Thank you. I thought I tried that before but acted on your advice and everything reappeared.
A lot of my posts depend on nuance and subtleties and the missing functions can be vital....honest!
When you want someone to know exactly how much of an idiot they are, these keys can be indispensable.
