This is absolutely no surprise if true.
Politicians and the media politicized the origin of Covid, called you a conspiracy theorist if you believed the virus escaped from the lab.
But why? Culpability and civil damages.

If someone goes to a zoo. And the zoo keeper leaves the chimpanzee gate open and the chimps get out and hurt and kill people. There will be civil lawsuits filed looking for payment for damages. In this case, the powers that be don't want people to know, and they hide the evidence and suppress it. Why?
