That's what I was thinking. They NEVER condemn Islam by itself. They usually defend Islam, but when cornered, their fallback position is to condemn "all" religion. But the truth is, their hatred is only for Christianity.

Nonetheless, Little Caesars' lied about their product.

The sauce might be halal and if someone requests "beef" pepperoni they might have at some stores, but unless a customer specifies and they just asks for pepperoni, they will be given pork.

They might have a halal options, but bacon and pepperoni is pork unless a special request it made otherwise.

Yeah, that's the whole point of this lawsuit. Have you not been paying attention?

The store advertised Halal pepperoni as an option. The man order halal pepperoni, and got pork pepperoni instead.

How did he know the difference, unless he's tried pork pepperoni before?

Most people can tell by smell.

Eating pork unintentionally is no big deal. By a mistake in ordering or even a mistake by the people making the pizza, there is no sin by the muslim eating it.

Mike Ilitch started Little Ceasar's with one store in suburban Detroit and built a billion dollar empire including owning the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. Ex-Marine and minor-league shortstop in the Tiger system. He died recently but not before he saved mid-town Detroit from the mau maus. If you want to pay twice as much for some Pizza Hut monstrosity go on ahead.

In some way he's right. It would have been the same thing if he ordered without a specific ingredient he was allergic to, the box would have said it's without that ingredient, and sold it WITH it.

The lawsuit in itself is not totally out there. The 100M thing is hilarious, though.
