A murder suspect who was arrested in Austin, Texas, Tuesday is a Mexican man who has been deported three times from the U.S.
Authorities deported Juan Navarro Rios in 1996, 2009, and 2014. Reasons for Rios’ deportations include an unspecified felony conviction, claiming to be a U.S. citizen, and for coming back to the U.S. after being previously deported.
“This is an example of the worst of the worst that we go after on a daily basis,” said Hector Gomez, supervisory deputy marshal of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Rios, 40, is wanted for having allegedly shot and killed two people driving down the road ans then kidnapping a landscaper.
