If people's concern is whether they align with a single individual (Trump, Biden, whoever, I don't care), they aren't American in their hearts. Am I 100% pleased with Trump in his second term?
Well, I was at first but admit he's slipping a bit. . I wouldn't call him more "liberal". He's never been a true conservative. He pays lip service to smaller government but aside from DOGE hasn't done all that much.
Constitutionally, I have no issues with him, although I realize he does push the envelope a lot. That's okay: the Democrats ignore it entirely.
I long ago gave up on the dream that the Perfect President would inhabit the White House. The things I admire the most about Trump are his willingness to fight and his understanding that politics is downstream from culture and we have to change the culture.
He ain't perfect. I get that. But I'll take him over anybody I've seen other than Vance.
