FNC: 968,000 total viewers – down 10%; (192,000 in 25-54 – down 24%)
MSNBC: 348,000 total viewers – down 28%; (119,000 in 25-54 – down 32%)
CNN: 346,000 total viewers – up 6%; (108,000 in 25-54 – up 13%)
HLN: 243,000 total viewers – up 2%; (91,000 in 25-54 – down 9%)
PRIMETIME
FNC: 1,543,000 total viewers – down 15%; (251,000 in 25-54 – down 24%)
MSNBC: 520,000 total viewers – down 36%; (173,000 in 25-54 – down 33%)
CNN: 451,000 total viewers – up 6%; (134,000 in 25-54 – up 9%)
HLN: 308,000 total viewers – down 1%; (112,000 in 25-54 – up 1%)
Recap:
With the exception of CNN showing an increase in viewers in Aug, both FNC and MSNBC showed declines in year over year reports. HLN, was had a slight gain in daytime viewers. FNC still holds over double the number of viewers than #2 MSNBC. CNN's numbers are rising and in the daytime races, nipping at MSNBC's heels
