Data entry- super tedious and low pay
Medical coder - bad pay
Warehouse - low pay and hard work

MRI jobs pay great at $40 an hour and you need one year of school only

How many MRI Jobs does Phoenix need ?? It can’t be many ??

All of your major hospitals have MRI machines, as well as some owned by free standing clinics.

Since Phoenix is a major metropolitan area, I would think there would be a couple hundred job in a city of that size.

I drive for a living and make that off my reservations, so I guess it depends on how good you are at what you do.

I became an MRI tech back in the 90s and at that time we had to be credentialed with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists BEFORE we could even train for running the scanner. There is a tremendous amount of knowledge required to actually be more than a "button-pusher".

It took 2 years to become a radiologic technologist and they required 18 months of on the job training with the equipment prior to sitting for a qualifying exam to be "registered" (certified) for the work. Without that certification, no employer could use the tech/worker because they couldn't be reimbursed from Medicare and most other insurers. It was a GREAT job and I loved it but after about 15 years I had to retire due to lower back and neck injuries from lifting and pulling on patients who could not move themselves.
