Will Putin finally need to call up the Russian army?

Latest news tells us that Russia is making preparations for a final attack when the Ukraine counter-attack fails.

Is that even possible?

Fwiw, I can visualize Nato involvement coming as the only answer, as the Ukraine loses tens of thousands of troops every week of it's counter attack.

America can't possibly accept a defeat on account of the task of defeating Russia/China can only be more difficult if not accomplished now!

Is Nato involvement the same as nuclear war? ON a small scale tactical nuclear response by Russia?
